Meet Your Guide
I was born and raised in the remote mountain village of Lokhim in the Solukhumbu district — the heart of Everest country. Lokhim is known for its people who have a great reputation for being cheerful, hard-working, and honest. I feel a great personal responsibility to uphold that reputation every day on the trail.
I started my experience in trekking as a baggage and supply porter at age fourteen. As I gained experience, learned English, and graduated in finance, I moved into guiding over ten years ago. I have now personally guided treks on every major circuit in Nepal — Everest, Gokyo, Annapurna, Manaslu, Makalu, Langtang, Poon Hill, and more.
I personally take care of all paperwork, local flights, meals, and accommodations while you are on trek. The porters I employ are from Lokhim families I personally know and have vetted.
